Anesthesia provides pain relief for a longer duration and improves patient well-being<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Indications<\/h4>\n
- BULAREX injection is indicated for:<\/li>\n
- In adults and children of all ages for intrathecal (subarachnoid) and obstetric surgical procedures.<\/li>\n
- In spinal anesthesia for urological, abdominal surgery including cesarean section and lower limbs.
  \nBULAREX injection uses:<\/li>\n
- Rapid onset of action and long duration, i.e. (T-thoracic) segments T10 \u2013 T12 \u2013 duration 2 to 3 hours or up to 6 hours.<\/li>\n
- Muscle relaxation of the lower limbs lasts 2 to 2.5 hours. The abdominal muscle blockade lasts 45-60 minutes.<\/li>\n
- At the injection site at the level of the intervertebral space (lumbar-L) L3-L4 and L5-S1 (sacral-S) in a seated position.<\/li>\n
- In the spinal (thoracic-T) segment T7-T10, patients receiving horizontal injection and blockade spread to the spinal (thoracic-T) segment T4-T7.<\/li>\n
- In children, pharmacokinetics are similar to those in adults.<\/li>\n
- Local anesthesia: BULAREX is administered to the surgical site or around nerves to block pain signals, allowing surgeons to perform procedures with reduced discomfort to the patient.<\/li>\n
- Epidural anesthesia: BULAREX may be administered epidurally (into the epidural space of the spine) to relieve pain during labor and delivery or to manage postoperative pain.<\/li>\n
- Nerve Blocks: BULAREX injections are also used for nerve blocks to provide targeted pain relief for conditions such as chronic pain, regional pain syndromes, and neuropathic pain.<\/li>\n
- Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures: BULAREX with Dextrose Injection is used in certain diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as nerve conduction studies and pain management interventions.<\/li>\n
- Versatility: BULAREX (bupivacaine hydrochloride with dextrose injection) can be administered in a variety of ways, including epidurally, intramuscularly, or directly to the surgical site.
